2. Is there a charge for the event?

No - the event is free to all.

3. Do I need to register for the event?

Yes - Please register here.

4. Will a BSL interpreter be available and do I have to register?

Yes - a BSL interpreter will be available for both brothers and sisters. Registration is required via the website.

5. Do I need to bring anything on the day?

Please bring your family & friends; a notebook & pen would also be highly advisable.

6. Do I need to stay for the whole event?

There is no compulsion, but it would be best if you could.

7. Will food be provided?

There will be a marquee with various stalls, some of which will be selling food. Contact Abdur Rashid on 07757299533. For more variety, Coventry Road is only a short walk away and has a range of restaurants and take-aways to suit all tastes.

8. Do you have wheelchair access?

Yes, the masjid has lifts.

9. Is the event open for non-muslims?

Yes, the course is open to all.

10. Will you be livestreaming the event?

Yes, however for those residing in the UK you are encouraged to attend in person to gain more blessings. The livestream can be accessed here.

11. Is there sufficient car parking space at the mosque?

There is limited parking at the mosque and will be prioritised for sisters with children and the elderly. There is plenty of space around the mosque on the side streets (please see map below). Please leave early to allow time to find suitable parking; can we please ensure we park considerately and respect the neighbours of the mosque.

12. What are the arrangements for parents with children?

Crèche Facility
This service is run by qualified teachers for children of ages 3-9 years. The crèche is located in the Ghamkol Education Centre (opposite the masjid) This is a paid for drop off service which requires registration. Please click here for more details.

Mother & Child room
We have a designated area in the Ghamkol Education Centre for children of all ages. This is not a drop off service, mothers will be required to stay with their children. A live audio/visual link will be available. No registration/fee applied.

13. Are there facilities for non-praying sisters?

14. Will the book be available?

It is unlikely the book will be available in English for the event; however, the Arabic book will be available on the booths outside the event. Click here to pre-order your copy to collect at the event. Copies of the book can be collected starting after Jumuah Salah in the marquee on 29th December.

16. Will the event be recorded?

Yes a professional team will be present throughout recording the event. If you do not wish to be recorded please sit in the hall on the ground floor.
